Matthew Lillard Set to Star in Three “Five Nights at Freddy’s” Movies
Matthew Lillard, famous for his role in “Scream,” is reportedly gearing up to portray William Afton in three live-action movies within Blumhouse Productions’ “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (FNAF) franchise.
While the release of the first FNAF movie in 2023 has been officially announced by Blumhouse, details about the reported sequels, “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s 3,” are still awaiting confirmation from the production company.
According to rumored information, production for the second installment is slated to kick off in early 2024, with the third installment following suit in early 2025. Both sequels are speculated to aim for release in the same years they commence production.
While Lillard has announced a three-picture deal with Blumhouse, official confirmation of the sequels is still pending from Blumhouse Productions.
