AMC Networks has reached an agreement to resume production on specific titles despite the ongoing strikes by WGA and SAG-AFTRA. The affected shows include The Walking Dead spinoffs, Daryl Dixon, and The Ones Who Live, the latter being a spinoff series featuring Rick Grimes and Michonne. Additionally, AMC’s Interview with the Vampire will also resume production under this agreement.
The deal is exclusive to these three shows. For The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the second season, set in Paris, France, will resume filming, while The Ones Who Live, despite wrapping filming, still has post-production work pending. Interview with the Vampire’s second season will also see a continuation of production. The agreement allows the inclusion of SAG-AFTRA members in these productions amid the ongoing strikes.
