Second Lt. Madison Marsh, an active-duty U.S. Air Force officer, created history by winning the Miss America title, the first in her position. Graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2021 with a physics degree, Marsh aspires to bring a positive image to the Air Force.
Her pageantry journey began at the academy, drawn to the community service and public speaking aspects. Marsh, representing Colorado, also founded the Whitney Marsh Foundation, raising over $250,000 for pancreatic cancer research since 2018.
Beyond her military achievements, Marsh’s dedication to philanthropy and her personal connection to pancreatic cancer showcased her resilience. Now pursuing a master’s degree in public policy at Harvard Kennedy School, Marsh continues to make impactful strides in service, philanthropy, and education.
