X-Men’s Sabretooth & Toad confirmed to appear in ‘Deadpool 3’ (Set Images)

Two iconic antagonists from Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchise are set to make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in ‘Deadpool 3’. Amidst the Phase 5 lineup, Deadpool 3 stands out as a monumental project, poised to traverse various iconic universes, a concept previously explored in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The film’s journey through the multiverse brings it back to a significant universe known to Marvel fans: Fox’s X-Men universe. Before the rise of the MCU, Marvel’s cinematic landscape was dominated by franchises like X-Men and Fantastic Four.

Now, characters like Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) are eager to join the MCU fray, facing off against classic X-Men adversaries such as Sabretooth and Toad, both confirmed to appear in Deadpool 3. Recent reports suggest actors for Sabretooth and Toad were spotted on set, engaging in a fight scene between Deadpool and Wolverine.

In a dramatic sequence, Wolverine decapitates Sabretooth, with Deadpool humorously carrying his severed head. Though Toad’s appearance wasn’t witnessed in the scene, his return has been confirmed, possibly depicted in the initial image shared.

While it remains uncertain if Liev Schreiber or Ray Park will reprise their roles, their returns aren’t entirely ruled out. Similar surprise comebacks, like Kelsey Grammer’s Beast in The Marvels, hint at the possibility.

Sabretooth, also known as Victor Creed, is a mutant whose abilities rival Wolverine’s, born out of a traumatic childhood and harboring a longstanding rivalry with Logan.

Meanwhile, Toad, or Mortimer Toynbee, endured a harsh upbringing due to his mutation, ultimately aligning with Magneto’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

As Deadpool 3 ventures into the multiverse, fans anticipate these confrontations between iconic characters, adding another layer of excitement to the MCU’s expanding narrative.
