Margot Robbie opens up about her future as Harley Quinn in James Gunn’s DC Universe

Margot Robbie, known for her role as Harley Quinn, has hinted that she may not be reprising the character in the newly rebooted DC Universe under James Gunn. In an interview with Variety, Robbie expressed her desire for Harley Quinn to be a character passed on to other actresses, similar to iconic male characters.

She stated, “Harley’s so fun and can go in so many different directions. You put her in someone else’s hands, and it’s like, ‘What are they going to do with her?’ The options are endless.” This suggests that Robbie is open to the possibility of a different actress taking on the role. The fate of Harley Quinn in James Gunn’s DC Universe remains uncertain, with many actors being recast in the reboot.
