The reason why Ana de Armas has stopped following Gal Gadot on social media

Conflicts between colleagues are not uncommon, often stemming from diverse working styles, personal issues, or differing opinions on global affairs. Such differences have led to a recent fallout between Cuban actress Ana de Armas and ‘Wonder Woman’ star Gal Gadot, resulting in Armas unfollowing Gadot on Instagram.

Gadot, an Israeli native, publicly supports her country’s military invasion, having served in the Israeli Defense Forces. In an attempt to shed light on Israel’s perspective, she planned a screening displaying Hamas actions. This decision sparked backlash on social media, with critics pointing out the irony of her character saving Arab children from missiles in the ‘Wonder Woman’ sequel.

Amid this controversy, observers noted that Ana de Armas ceased following Gal Gadot on Instagram, signaling her disagreement with Gadot’s stance. While neither actress has addressed the issue publicly, the move suggests a divergence of opinions on the ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, Gadot continues to share images depicting the violent bombing of Israel on Palestinians with her followers.
